On 25 November 2022 at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Zoi Tsokanou led the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (TSSO) and Alena Baeva, one of the world's most captivating, versatile and inspiring violin soloists in Prokofiev's highly demanding Violin Concerto no.2 and and Shostakovich's lyrical and self-portrait 'Fifth Symphony', which went down in history because at its premiere the ovations of the audience at the end exceeded the length of the work itself.
