On January 24, 2022, Zoi Tsokanou led the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra (TSSO) and renowned violinist Gil Shaham one of the greatest violinists of our time, in the captivating Adagio for Strings, Op. 11 by Samuel Barber who completing the programme with a stunning performance of the Violin Concerto in D major Op, 61 for solo violin and orchestra by Ludwig van Beethoven.
The concert was held at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall in the context of the 'National Day of Remembrance of the Greek Jewish Martyrs and Heroes of the Holocaust' in cooperation with the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki.
